GardenTrade 2012 is a targeted event aimed towards enhancing the productivity, creativity and economic viability of the Landscape Industry in Singapore. This gardening course comprises six classes to equip novice gardeners with knowledge and skills to create and maintain a garden,whether isit an outdoor one in a landed property or in a high-rise apartment. This series of hands-on classes will cover everything you need to know as a beginner from plant selection,plant propagation,pruning,growing media selection,pest and disease management.You will also learn how plants are named,their growth habits,and what they need to thrive.

About the Trainer:
Wilson Wong leads the Horticulture and Outreach section in HortPark & the SouthernRidges. An avid gardener and blogger,he regularly contributes to The Straits Times’“Root Awakening”column and takes part in community gardening.He is also the Founder and Administrator of Green Culture Singapore,and a committee member of the Singapore Gardening Society. Wilson aims to inspire and cultivate greater interest in plants and gardening among Singapore’s residents.
